i think people do that because they want u to know so that u won't worry then about it or if they say that on the phone they tired of talking or they was busy at that moment and didn't have time to call back or if they said that they will be right back maybe they was and didn't have the time or they was just telling a lie yes it bugs me when they do it but not to much because i do the same

Now this is a very good question. My boyfriend when he says I'll
you back he does,and if he doesn't he has a good reason.
My niece when she says I will call you back she never does.
That drives me so crazy! Don't say you will do something and don't do it. Just say you will come back later. It is like there brain has a melt down, relapse or something. Maybe since this happens alot this is just one of the questions that willnever get answered.

Come to think about it..it only happen to me once. I think people who do that make it as an excuse to get away or because they are too busy. Now if they do it a lot then they have a really busy life or there just trying to avoid you. But it does not bother me. If they don't want to talk to me or see me then who cares. Let them do whatever they do. At least it will give me a heads up to not bother talking to them. It would be there lost in my good friendship. Plus there probably not responsible enough to stay in schedule or they just don't have respect for others including there reputation.
