you need to treat your carpets. Thats why they are on your legs. also poss sofas and bed. You buy a spray from the vet and fumigate, close windows and leave house for a while. The eggs can lay dormant in the carpet or other soft furnishings for years before hatching and every new flea will leave more eggs. Its not enough to do the dogs alone.

That will sort you out for future years but as for the scars you have now, I dont think there is anything in particular that really works. You are best to to use a skin slougher of some sort - either a body scrub and or a body brush - followed by good moisturiser. This will encourage healthy new skin growth and may speed things up a bit.

A cream called Mederma is great for scarring. You can get it over the counter at the drug store. But you are going to continue to have problems unless your animals are treated for fleas regularly especially in the summer. (Imagine how they feel). Also, believe it or not the sun will help diminish your bite marks, so get some sun exposure in private. Good luck I used to have the same problem!

They have new creams you can get right over the counter now to fade scars. Mederma is one. If you can't find them ask the pharmacist in any drug store. They seem to know where everything is.
I have scars on my forearms from when we lived in Crete. There were so many mosquitoes there and we had no dryer, I had to hang all our clothes out on a line to dry and was eaten alive every time. They have faded a bit "over the years" but are still visible to me. So I use that fake tan in a bottle to even out the color on my arms. It looks natural enough. Try that on your legs, the look is quite flattering, just make sure you exfoliate before using and apply it when your legs are thoroughly dry.

Use flea repellents on your floors. But it may not be fleas, it may be harvest mites. Tiny orange things, very hard to see. They give a wicked bite tho and de-fleaing your dogs will NOT stop them. They live on the tips of blades of grass and will attach to your legs or your dogs legs. You might notice your dogs biting at their feet or up to their knee area. The mites will die out by the beginning of September, so relief is coming.

fleas make a bee-line for me! dont get bitten like before we make sure the pets are treated regularly. It's the itching that drives you crazy and the marks left go away by themselves in time, but it does seem to take a couple of months though..

Try cocoa butter.

It works awesome. I've used it for scars and streach marks. It might not clear up RIGHT away.. but it works faster than anything else i've ever tried. Plus it's not that much money and it smells good!
