what's wrong with being an Atheist?

2006-09-02 10:09:06 · answer #1 · answered by Hollywood™ 3 · 0 2

A true Atheist would not donate blood and feel no need to save another. Atheists cannot have morals since morals come from God. A truce Atheist believes that humans are just another animal on Earth, no more important than a cockroach. Humans have no soul and there is no afterlife. Why keep someone else alive?

Why not? The blood of an atheist is as good as of of the most religious person. Only we must ensure that the blood group matches.

Absolutely. but I might balk at being given Christian blood! I would shrink from any idea I might become disctatorial, preaching, judgemental, self serving and conceited. I think I would rathe take my chance of dying.
That way if I dicovered I had been mistaken and there actually was a god I would be guaranteed that all those that call themselves Christian would be barred from heaven for their un-christian attituted and self serving opinons!

I suffer from a rare type of Anemia that has caused me to need several transfusions, I don't care what religion or non-religion the donor is, I'm just glad they care enough to BE donors, otherwise I wouldn't be alive today to write this. (The anemia I have only hits those of Celtic descent and I'm half Irish, half Scottish)

Yes, as long as it has been fully screened with all the testing currently available.

Blood products are considered a drug, they are regulated by the FDA... not the church.

They are part of the corruptable flesh, not the immortal soul. There is nothing "magic" about blood.

What? I think if I was dying the last thing on my mind would be the religious affiliation of the blood donor. If you have even that question in your mind I'd say you are one step away from drinking someone's poison Kool-Aid.

I don't remember any religion that states you get to heaven because of the composition of your blood. However, memory cells may exist in blood (research pending) so it could change your views.
