Is there anything I could do that would help me sleep. Im 17, and it's really starting to affect me. I know I should see a doctor, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do? I exercise for two hours a day, so I should sleep easily.

If you have a TV in your room I use to put on like a really boring channel like the NASA channel or something and it would put me right to sleep lol

but seriously I have Bipolar Disorder and I DO get Insomnia
what I do is. make a big list of things to do
a list that is unrealisticly long and just go down the list eventually i get tired and go to sleep

Are you exercising at night? This could keep you up. There's a lot of herbal things you could try (one at a time - just to see which one works for you). First, valerian root. Next, 5HTP. St. John's wort, etc. Keep at it till you find the one that's right for you. Do WHATEVER it takes to get to sleep, and if that means going to a doctor, do it. You'll be glad you did.
