I blew up my Mustang today, and my grandma is going to buy me a car for 4k. My first thoughts were 240SX or Eclipse. What other cars are there for 4k or so that are nice looking and fast?

No eclipse unless its a TSI... You might just end up with a neon in another body. 240s are alright. What years are you looking to and from? Maybe another mustang, a v8 camaro (even though I would have to guess thats a negative based on the mustang), 300zx, a SSEI Bonneville, a GTP Grand Prix. Check on autotrader.com in your area and then go to http://autos.msn.com/default.aspx to check out the specs of some cars.

why not take the 4k & put a new engine in the Mustang? I had a 240sx & loved it. If you like your car, maybe you'd be better off with a new engine.
