You are right and btw, it's Anala's standard response to anyone who is anti criminal to say "Grow up." Little minds can only comprehend so much...
Many people hate illegals for the simple fact that they are criminals and that they demand rights, while the American taxpayers fund their demands. It's not right.

I believe that objection to illegal immigration is often confused for hate. I think that it's not hate that is being expressed. I believe that many people who are here legally want to live in a society of laws and want people who come here to respect the laws and the process which has been set up for legal immigration. I think that our country is made up of wonderful diversity that enriches our nation and this is a nation which has a process set up for others to be part of our society. It's a slap in the face to those who are here legally if we don't enforce the laws we have. But in the end I think somehow this objection of illegal immigration is confused with hate. When it comes down to it, we're all people trying to live our lives. All people worthy of respect. But also so our the laws we have in place. The welcome is there at the end of the process.

I don't get it either. They are not legal, and jumping the borders! Which means, they take away the legals (true Americans) jobs, paycheck... Yes, they do have horrible lives where they came from (Mexico, etc.), but they at least should rightfully get a visa, passport or legal documents to live here!

The people who came here legally know how hard it is to get to this country legally because they went though it. I guess they figure the way that born Americans feel. If you want to come here, fine, but go through the same process that other immigrants did to get here.

“We don’t hate the illegals per say--we hate what they do (ie ignorning the law, not paying
taxes and receiving entitlements, which are meant for US citizens etc.) There is a huge difference in hating illegals and ‘hating’ another ethnic group.

Most dislike Illegals because they haven't followed procedures. Or because illegal migrants feel that citizenship is owed them and not a privilege.

COMO SE DICE ILLGAL EN ESPANOL? ( How do you say illegal in Spanish?) What do they understand about the word illegal? It's a crime in every country in the world to cross borders without permission. You get 3yrs in prison in Mexico. Here you get free medical care free food for you anchor baby and a job from criminal owners of companies.

Because we are a nation of laws, when our laws get broken there needs to be action taken, however our government is a little slow at getting up to bat.

I don't necessarily hate them.
I just think there is a much better, LEGAL way of going about what they are trying to do.
(which is make their own lives and the lives of their families better, NOT to 'take over' our country. Cmon people, get real)

Because they want to fight it. If they come here illegally they should'nt get any benefits that legals have.
