I think it's whatever you're comfortable with as a family. If your child is the opposite sex as you, you may want to stop earlier. It's only a big deal if it's made to be one. If they're used to it, it probably doesn't even phase them to see you naked. They will give you ques when they start to get uncomfortable with it, and then it's time to stop. God Bless

Depends on if you are the same sex as them.
I have a 6 yr old little girl and she sees me getting dressed, taking off my clothes at night, getting ready for a bath or whatever.

Now I would not be bathing with them, or running around the house completely nude all the time no matter what sex they are.

You have to remember that kids go to school and say the strangest things......lol
Would hate for you to get a call from the teacher saying " guess what Johnny came to school telling everybody today"?

But I do not think that them seeing you in your bra and slip in the morning is a big deal.

Being a prude about sex is just as harmful to children as being a nudist. You have to do everything in moderation.

That question fits in so many categories and falls into so many thoeries it is a tough one. I never saw my parents naked and I'm not sure I am better off for it. As a teen I was so curious it was ridiculous. To me we have a puritanical problem in the U.S. suggetsing to most of us that nudity is a sexual thing. Children are natural nudists and if they grow up unashamed of their own bodies and unimpressed with others but accepting that we all are pretty much the same when naked I see no harm in it. Depending on many factors...if dad has also been seen naked and neither of you are parading but just happen to be undressed and the reactions of the children are negligible while you and he are casual and dress as soon as possible then why not? Naked in and of itself, is neiither dirty or sexual or perverted. I spent one day later in life at a nudist camp just because I was curious. Whole families, adults , teens, youngsters to toddlers and mom and pop all gathered about the pool naked and Once I got over my initial hangups I found an ordinary mix of people and healthy family relationships no sex, no ogling, none of the supposed evils some people think of. It was a pleasant day with pleasant people who all happened to be naked. Children never even glanced in the direction of anyone any differently than they would had they been clothed. So it becomes and issue of how comfortable you and your children are with the situtation. If you are all fine about it than I wouldn't worry.

yes this will help them understand they can't be naked infront of everyone, don't be over protected over it, and don't make it an issue cause they might just walk in on you just to get a reaction adn they won't understand "why it's wrong" at this age, but depending on the sex of your child to you depends also, if your in your slip i think that's fine, but i think you should (if it's a boy) bath him seperate, or he'll become to clingy and start having issues when he gets in his teens, and eventually have small social problems, he'll be too tender twd women since, as you know men look for partners simliar to thier mother because this is what they see as "normal") but i've had a friend do that now her son get taken advantage by girls all the time. read a Socialology book or scan through it, it really helps with parenting =)

No you shouldn't care at all, my mother has always walked around with nothing on after a bath or gotten changed infront of us rather then leave the room. This has made me feel comfortable about seeing other peoples bodies as well as my own so I think of it as a good thing. People who think it's pervy or wrong are nothing but prudes

If your children are the opposite gender then yes, now is the time to teach them about privacy. They are starting to realize that you are different then they are, and they will want to know why. If you are the same gender however, its just fine to stay nude in front of the, because it will teach them to be happy and open about their bodies, which will help them during puberty and those odd years.

you take a bath with your kids? I never heard of anyone doing that.
In my opinion, you should never be naked in front of your kids. Since kids learn in kindergarten at age 5...at age 6 they already know and are curious.

I do think it's time to begin to teach them that their body is private and belongs to them. You can do this casually, without creating a fear in them, just a sense of respect for theirs, and others, privacy.

You should definitely stop taking baths with them.

I don't see any reason why you should. So many hang ups in the world today are caused by this "shame" we feel about our bodies. Just look at some of the replies you get to breastfeeding in public on this site.

if all along you have let the kids be around you without your clothes on, then I would not suddenly shut the door because this might send a negative signal but slowly excuse them or be around them with more clothes on and answer questions.
