IN wellness swimming class we where in the deep end in one place (not moving just staying in that one place in the deep end) and i felt SOOO weak each time my arms would flap to try to stay afloat and i felt like i was going to drown waiting for the student to tose me the ring while we where practicing and when i got out the pool my arms felt hurt as HELL, is it just me or is it normal?

The hurt part is not normal. However, your muscles would have gotten used to the water bearing part of your weight. That's part of why people tend to feel a little wobbly when they get out of the pool.

Does anyone else know about this? How long has it been going on? Without knowing more, I would about have to suggest seeing a doctor.

Good luck!

I'm one of the 10% of men that can't float, so treading water takes a LOT of effort for me, I get weak in less than a minute.
