The only reason why anyone rejects evolution outright is the lack of knowledge in the fundamentals of genetics. People are quick to judge something they don't even know. Statistically, within my circle of acquiantances and friends, most reject evolution but the same group of individuals show very poor understanding of what evolution really is as a scientific theory. In fact, all of them equate "theory" to "unproven" (statements like, "its only a theory")yet are horrified of nuclear blast, which is of course a baby atomic theory.

Let's make a deal. If you learn how to spell and write, I will answer your question.
Oh, alright, it's not nice to pick on the ignorant people in the world.
1st - Generalizing ALL christians in the same category is wrong and almost as bad as racism. Just because one idiot spouts one thing doesn't mean the rest are the same.
2nd - Evolution taught in schools is a THEORY. I am sure humans have evolved over time. All animals have evolved. The question is not... "Have they" but "From What/Who" I have no answer for that question because I am not an anthropologist nor an evolutionary biologist. I do believe this, somewhere in all the mist and crap flying about is the truth. The bible is telling the truth and so are the scientists. There is a missing LINK, or thought process that would probably explain it all. Oh yeah He is GOD! Since I believe that; 1)God is perfect; 2)God created a world that is perfect and forever adaptable; spending too much time thinking about it (For me at least) is a total waste. This is time that could be spent solving more important problems like: ending world hunger, achieving world peace, social security, or stopping/slowing the effects of global warming. You know, things we can actually DO something about!
Slamming a religion for their beliefs is wrong. Even if it is Christians. Would you do the same to devout Musslims? What about Jews? Buddhists? Hindi's? My guess is, probably not. So why do you think that slamming Christians and their beliefs (right or wrong) is okay?
I suggest that you, buddy, take a sensitivity class or a class in anthropology, and learn that everyone in the world is entitled to their religious beliefs (whether they get that entitlement is another question). Get over your pompous self, get an education, and learn to accept others as they are. Complaining/debating about things that you can never change is a waste of time, breath, and energy.

The definition of evolution for most atheists is a godless, unguided, random process in which things came to be. Here's the thing: Christians believe in ordered creation by God.
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
It's that simple. GOD created everything in a certain period of time. It was not a random process. According to the theory of evolution, I could go out into the middle of the desert and sit around, and eventually a Ferrari would pop up out of the sand. According to evolution, anything can come out of anything, given an infinite amount of time.
God also created the earth in six days. Some Christians, in an attempt to save face with the secular scientist, try to "mix" evolution and creation. Some say that when Genesis says "day", it is only a reference to a certain amount of time, most likely in the thousands, millions, and billions of years. So, they falsely come to the conclusion that God used evolution to create the earth. This is not true. Genesis is not an allegory, it is literal history.
As for if evolution was not applied to people, then it would just be illogical. I hope this helps, God bless!

The Bible addresses the creation of animals and humans.
So, logically, it would follow that IF creationism is wrong, then all animals and humans are the product of evolution.
The problem is this:
Evolution remains an unproven theory. No "missing links" have been discovered.
And no one has been able to prove creationism wrong.

Christians would still care. Evolution presumes on an old earth, the facts don't support that assumption. Even if they didn't apply it to humans, which isn't possible because if you believe one part, you have to believe it all.
