talk to your family about it. if it endangers yourself or, some one else, it is not a secret that is worth keeping.

Endangering you and your family how? If it is something that is dangerous or has the potential to become dangerous you really need to tell someone. Please do not hesitate to tell someone if someone is being hurt, abused, neglected, or whatever the circumstances may be. God bless you and your family...

Hard to answer without any background.
If you know who REALLY shot Kennedy and can proof it, don't! Who ever it was wouldn't like you to tell...
Secrets like this should stay secret.
But if you know that your neighbor is a mass murderer you should tell to police before he finds out that you know.

If it endangers your life or someone else's you need to tell. But you were too vague--I really need more information then that.

I think that if it's life threatening you should tell the police and tell them that it's confidential and if anyone finds out, it will be a threat to your life. But do not under any circumstances keep it to yourself because that can be very dangerous.
