I mean the name calling, the rudenes, the hate even.
Jesus came with so much love and understanding for my situation and never forced me to do anything.
He gave me millions of chances to change my ways wich I choose to ignore but when I finally surrenderd to His love he welcomed me with open arms and more love than I ever felt before.
I'm so happy that Jesus still loves me and I'm never going back.
The Q is for those fellow christeans who put people down for being atheist.I was too not too long ago and Jesus still loved me,why can't you?No one of us can do it alone,we are so lucky to have Christ in our life, wihtout Him we'd be lost so how can it ever be right for us to judge and ridicule people who are not there yet?I'll pray for them and love them.
Jesus doesn't lie, manipulates, insults or forces people. He comes with great love and glory to His name.

Carol M,your answer although you back it up with a bible verse,i have to disagree with.Too bad I can't contact you so I'll do it here.Aren't we suposed to spread the word of God?How can we do that without meeting people who don't believe? And isn't convincing them and therefor bringing them back to Christ more important than anything?I have Jesus in my heart and am a proud Christean and am afraid to face no man. They are only human, sinners just like me,and I love them and won't give up on them.I'll never feed the doubt or misery the devil places in their heart by feeding it with insults and hate.Cos the devil will use anything to keep people out of God.My life changed dramaticly,i'm a humble servant of Jesus now and I'll show what His love can do to all who want to see.God bless you.
Thanks for all the love in most answers and I do ask and trust Jesus to direct my life from now on and He doesn't ask me to stop thinking.I love God so much and His love set me free.

What is "ask Jesus into your heart?" It isn't in the Bible. When the people who became the first Christians asked, look what they were told to do:
Ac 2:37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

My goddess Ba'stet tells me She's high-quality with me accepting Darwin, Einstein, Dawkins and Krauss. She's been around lots longer than Jesus grew to become into speculated to stay. she did not heard of him until eventually centuries later. highway preaching grew to become right into a great element back then. Many claimed to be the hot maximum suitable element. Come settle for Ba'stet into your coronary heart. She has room for you together with her acquaintances. She's sturdy acquaintances with Isis, Athena, Diana and Xena! could your hearth be ever heat.

You have been given the grace to see through those that are still early in their walk. Becoming a Christian is a personal relationship with Christ and being a beacon of His light and love to everyone. What a privilege! We are to love, not judge -- God does that. I find that it boils down to relating with others one on one. Caring and encouraging all along the way with a focus on others rather than self. That's the world that excites...being 'in' the world -- not 'of' the world. As the Lord directs your unique path, be a loving witness and example -- that is our mission. Peace be with you, my friend!

What exactly is your question? I'm glad that you were able to accept Jesus without being negatively impacted by the bad Christians. One thing I have learned is that no one is perfect, we all have our weakness and we all are striving to be better. But for some reason we all fail because of our sinful nature. The important thing is to remember to keep your eyes on Jesus because all people will let you down no matter who they are - no one will be able to match the standard you expect from them - they will eventually make a mistake. But if you keep your eyes on Jesus, no matter what anyone does, you should not be impacted by them because your focus is on Jesus and Jesus only! Don't let anyone (Christian/non-christian) keep you away from what you know in your heart is right. Jesus loves everyone but that doesn't mean humanity has completely grasped that concept of love and that's why many of us struggle in loving people and being the Jesus role model to whomever we meet. But I agree with you, we as Christians need to love and not be mean to people regardless of their faith and background. It's easier said than done.

Some denominations and religions believe the more people they convert will guarantee their spot in heaven. It should never be forced on anyone, make your own decision. As for the hate, some people can't accept the fact that not everyone believes what they do. I agree that human kind should just get along. It will never happen, but it's a nice thought.

Because those Christians are wrong. They are in it for reasons they don't even understand. As a Christian, our only function is love our neighbors and spread the Word of God. We aren't here to Force the Word of God down people's throats. If people don't want to hear it, we should stop. It is, afterall, their choice and God did give each of us a choice.
I apologize that you felt 'pushed' away from Christianity.

You have posed a very good question. The only true answer you will receive is from Jesus himself. Ask him this, not us. Pray and you will find your answer there. You have a beautiful soul and a kind heart. Don't let anyone ever take that away from you.

I beg to differ. You may have experienced some of what you said, however, the good, bad and ugly God used to bring you back to Himself. He kept pricking your heart. Why did you reject Him so long? If it were the people; Christians, who rejected you, and Jesus accepted you, then why did you wait so long.
i'm glad you got it together, but being loving and compassionate offers a swift kick in the behind sometimes.

YOU are so right, little one, may God Bless your wisdom.
Try to remember we Christians are still ONLY human that are SAVED.
Most of us were never athesist so we do not comprehend them.
We were lost and undone.......that! we understand.
So........we are all on the same team........just keep your eyes on JESUS, not on people. Keep loving people. Keep LOVING and praying for each other.
We sometimes forget where we came from and how far God has brought us.
Praise God for His longsuffering and goodness unto mankind.
