She only talks to her son, daughter, and my grandmother on the phone and she never ever speaks to anyone eles in the family or visits. Could it be true that the family is right about her? How could I be able to tell if she really cares about me?

I'll tell you this. Some folks just aren't on a very high spiritual level. They lack spiritual consciousness. They have alot of cash and they value material goods. But some of them lack people skills. This may be your situation. And if this is the case, don't worry about it. This sounds like sort of a bad thing to say but I wouldn't want to be cared for or loved by a person that acts in that manner. Even if they ARE family. Just be secure in who you are and keep a smile on your face when talking to these folks. Stay pleasant. But you don't necessarily have to love them. They don't deserve it.

Call her! You know I had the same thing in my family. My mother would say oh they just sit around and brag about all their stuff. Well my aunt and uncle worked hard to get there and they have the right to talk about their stuff. The thing is, if the people you are talking to has not acheived what you have they will be a little jealous! I am sure in her circle of high acheivers she is not a snob at all.

call her. let her know that you would like to build a closer relationship. see if she's open to palling around with you when she has time.
is it possible that she has isolated herself because maybe people have tried to use her for her money?
or maybe she is just not family-oriented, or not a very sociable person.
or you could be right about her being a snob.
just reach out to her and see what happens. if she is receptive you will have gained a beautiful new relationship with your aunt. if she is not receptive you will have lost nothing because she doesn't socialize with you anyway. either way you can't lose.

It is possible she could suffer from social anxiety or some other anxiety disorder and wants to be closer with you and the other members of her family but doesn't want people to know what she is going through, or doesnt think you would understand. So she only speaks to and spends time with the people she is most close to.

they r probably just ealous of her and the only way u can find the truth out is to visit her and spend time with her for yourself. Everyone thinks differently of people and when people r jealous of someone....they usually just talk bad about them to make themselves feel better.

THE MORE PEOPLE HAVE, THE MORE IT OWNS THEM. THEY FEEL EMPTY AND UNDESERVING SOMETIMES, AND OVERSOMPENSATE BY ACTING AS IF THEY ARE ABOVE OTHERS.
IT IS EASIER TO TEAR OTHERS DOWN TO THE LEVEL ONE FEELS THEY THEY ARE AT THEM TO RISE TO THE LEVEL ONE FEELS OTHERS ARE AT.
HAVING WHAT YOU WANT DOES NOT EQUAL WANTING WHAT YOU HAVE.
HAVING EVERYTHING YOU WANT ALL THIS TIME GIVES A FALSE SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT. PEOPLE WITH ENTITLEMENT SYNDROME SUCK, AND THEY ARE REALLY UNATTRACTIVE TO OTHERS.
YOU WILL TELL IF SHE CARES ABOUT YOU IF SHE CALLS YOU AND MAKES AN EFFORT TO BE IN YOUR LIFE. AND IF SHE SHOWS INTEREST IN YOUR LIFE, WITHOUT MAKING IT ABOUT HER, THEN SHE MIGHT BE GENUINELY INTERESTED.
ALSO, LOOK FOR SIGNS OF EMPATHY. EMPATHY DEMONSTRATES SINCERITY. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT OTHERS IN THE FAMILY ARE JEALOUS AND BADMOUTHING HER (SEE PARAGRAPH 2). IF SHE SHOWS EMPATHY, BELIEVE HER, NOT THEM. PEOPLE CAN FAKE SINCERITY, BUT NO ONE CAN FAKE EMPATHY.

why would you want to know if she really cares about you? would it be to gain interest or really get to know this aunt for who she is? if she know about you ad haven't called then why worry? you have to see what your ultimatum is is it genuine or what? you find that out and if it is for genuine meeting and knowing who she is since she is family then give her a call and tell her you want to get to know her. she is probably snobby cause everyone wants her for her money. if she is selfish then that is another story, cause we don't get blessed to be selfish

what would she do if you called her? You can ask the people she talks to if she says anything bad about you
