The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.
If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.
How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?
It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.
One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.
Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.
If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.
If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.
How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.
Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.
If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.
How likely is that????
Think about it.
The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

A sin is any thought or action that falls short of God's will. God is perfect, and anything we do that falls short of His perfection is sin.
The Bible actually uses a number of examples or "word pictures" to illustrate what this means. For example, it tells us that sin is like an archer who misses the target. He draws back his bow and sends the arrow on its way—but instead of hitting the bull's-eye, it veers off course and misses the mark. The arrow may only miss it a little bit or it may miss it a great deal—but the result is the same: The arrow doesn't land where it is supposed to.
The same is true of sin. God's will is like the center of that target—and when we sin, we fall short of His will or miss the mark. And this is something we do every day; as the Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Even when we aren't aware of it, we commit sin by the things we do (or fail to do), or by the way we think.
This is why we need Christ, for only He can forgive us all our sins, and only He can help us live the way we should. We can't forgive ourselves, nor can we change our hearts and make ourselves better in God's eyes. But when we know Christ, He takes away our sins and comes to live within us by His Spirit. Does He live today in your heart?

Grace(not Law) unto you and peace(not division),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nice try at playing the "contrary part",
"their part" witch shall have "their end",
by which God(Grace) is evil(law) spoken of.
http://www.godshew.org/TheirPartYourPart.htm
But I speak to your shame & ignorance,
and I speak from "above a servant",
which is higher than heavens on high.
http://www.godshew.org/AboveAServant.htm
Whatsoever is not of faith is sin: Rom 14:23.
The law is not of faith: Gal 3:12
Conclusion: law is sin.
Christ is the end of the law: Rom 10:4; Eph 2:14,15
In Christ there is no sin, cause in him there's no law.
To wit: that God was in Christ reconciling the world,
and by NOT law imputing transgressions unto them.
Our Father, deliver us from evil: Mt 6
We are delivered from the law: Rom 7
Conclusion: law is evil
Law is the root source of sin: Rom 4:15; 5:13.
Law is the "strength" of sin's death sting: 1Cor 15:56
Thereby law is the "strong man" to first bind: Mt 12:29
Law: ministration of condemnation & death: 2Cor 3:7,9
Law is the pale horse a Death rider rides in on: Rev 6:8
What follows law imputed sin and death thereof, is hell.
In Mt 22:36-40 law law the first(law) is like the second(law).
In Rom 8:2 law law the first is notably the law of sin & death.
Where & when no law, there & then no sin & death, nor hell.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Sin is anything said, done, or thought, which doesn't meet God's standard of purity. It was originally a term referring to arching, and sin was when your arrow didn't hit the bulls-eye. Literally, to miss the mark.

The law of God is written on the hearts of man. We ALL were BORN in to sin. It's not only something we do, it's something we inherited.

Sin is disobedience of God's Laws. It is not up to your church to teach you the Laws (although they do....if you pay attention).

a sin is when you do something that you think is wrong and when your conscience aches because of it. so it depends on the person. but still if someone hurts because of your actions (intentional actions) that is a sin.

sin is anything that separates us from God. the bible has everything you need and any decent church can help teach you the rest.
