I must say I haven't had a good McDonald's fry in years. I even quit ordering combos because most of the time the fries came just barely warm, limp, greasy - just plain bad. I kept returning them and ordering fresh-made ones. I finally gave up.

I do agree with you on both counts. Did you know you can get hot fries each and every time, by saying without salt. Then ask for some salt.

I really do like their fries when hot - who likes cold fries? But by far, I love Boardwalk Fries.

Sort of agree, if you're talking about the biggies (McD, Wendy's, BK).
Blimpies has the best fries. They're Boardwalk style.

LOL you are so right. I remember their fries being even better back in the 80's. I heard they use to fry them in animal fat instead of vegetable oil.

Absolutely. Microwaving them doesn't help either. I think that they're even worse reheated than cold. Almost inedible, even.
