I LOVE cats AND dogs - I've got 3 dogs and 5 cats; we always winding up taking strays in and giving them a good home, and they turn out to be the best animals in the world.

I love both, but I live in a small apartment so I only have cats. I want a house with a big yard before I get a dog...I don't see how people can coop up dogs in small apartments with no place to run around.

Love them both. Currently have dogs. Have had 4 cats. Both are very cool, for very different reasons.

I love cats and am not very fond of dogs, i can pet them but won't own them. Also the neighbor does not pick up pooh from his two big dogs that "go" in my yard so it isn't a pleasant thing to step in nor mow over. Yet i don't blame the dogs. Just prefer cats, plus i had one as a pet as a child so may have something to do with it.

I LOVE cats. We have five at the moment, but I've known, oh, fifty or more since I was a baby. I think cats are beautiful, endlessly fascinating, funny and loving and magical. So expressive, so thoughtful, so curious, and so elegant -- and they can purr, something for which I have always envied them.
I can't take living with dogs, but I don't hate them. And... for some reason, dogs LOVE me. Whenever I go to a home with dogs, they are constantly sitting near me, following me, sitting at my feet or with their head on my lap (depending on how big they are).
I think it's because when I talk to dogs, I look them in the eyes and take them seriously. I respect them -- I just don't want them in my house or my life.
For I am the cat who walked by himself, and all ways are the same to me...

I love cats and use to hate dogs, but now after my family got a dog a few years back, I love both. (I still hate vicious dogs though)

I love both, but I am extremely allergic to dogs and can't be near them without having a bad reaction. So, I have 8 cats instead - I adore them more than dogs on some levels - their mystery and intelligence is amazing.
