he goes to the local pub across the road at 9pm till closing time to be with his friends. ok, i know where he is and i don't think he's cheating. but is this acceptable in a relationship? it makes me wonder what his friends have got that i haven't. he WILL NOT be distracted or diverted from this routine

Why aren't you there with him? In addition why does this have to be every night? Does he have a drinking problem? Don't get me wrong.. I am completely fine with guys night but what about some time with you?

Hmm well... dont mean to sound rude but, come on it does not take a rocket scientist to know that there is something definately wrong with this picture.. Once or twice a week is alright but, every night, noooo way. he could be spending more quality time with you and the family, or invite you to go too, good luck
PS. On top of that im sure he spends a ton of $$ at the bar that could be used for better things. I would have a serious talk with him and tell him you garantee that this relationship is going down the tube due to his unexceptable routine, he needs to get his priorities staright, besides the more he is out on his own like that the more aceptable he is to falling for someone else.

either he has a drink problem, or is just a git, sit him down and tell him this is not acceptable, you want to be able to spend some time with him alone, I believe in doing your own thing in a relationship but this is ridiculous, he needs to stregthen the bonds of your relationship by actually investing some time in it, and I'm not talking an extra hour or a couple of days a week, the pub should be occasional, not you. if he can't do this then get rid, you can do soooo much better then this inconsiderate sod.

Why does he have to go every night, habit? Why not go with him occasionally?
It may be, as someone has already said, he has a drinking problem and therefore can't break the habit.

Perhaps you could suggest going somewhere diff for a change and break the cycle. Maybe agree to go out at the weekends and both of you try not to go out during the week as much. Basically, make it pleasurable to spend time together, family or not.

I think that you and him need to talk. He may think it is acceptable as you havent said anything. Dont shout or argue with him but discuss this in an adult manner. Come to a compromise, he can go to the pub as long as he takes you there sometimes or perhaps he can take you out to a candlelit dinner somewhere.

Gay.........try getting a heavy cold, it may deepen your voice and make you sound more manly- don't shave legs or armpits and rub 'fastgrow hair follicles' on your chest, remembering to slap a bit around the face while you're at it. Can't do much about the salami- last resort would be doing it yourself; Iv'e heard Anne Summers have a sale on in their battery goods range.

man are like that, just go with him and see what he does int he future, if he goes again, and you can see what is he doing, if there is something you don't like just tell him, and he can't do everything he want to like when he is alone. you will feel more lonely if you stay at home. it is beetter being in a bar than doing something else. don't force him into anything just let him do what he likes, but if he does not have time to be with u, you have to tell him, that u are sad, and u have to show him, otherwise you will continue to be sad and he knows nothing until u bcome totally fed up.

Girl you just go out yourself and have a good time. While you are out find a new boyfriend who will make you number one in his life.
Have fun, good luck!!!
PS Did I mention take his belongings over to the pub and tell him that is where is now living?

Either he is gay or he is loosing intrest in you. So what u need to do is show him you can go out and have fun too with your girlfriends .Soon he will see that your not just at home worried about him but that your out having fun then he will notice that he is missing out.....Good luck and i hope everthing works out for the best...

Whilst he's getting ready to go to the pub why not take off all of your clothes and see what his reaction is? Maybe he'll stay home!
