My boyfriend had cancer at a very young age and was cured and he just got diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I love him so much, but I am scared of what the future hold...should I not worry about what future i will have if i marry him?

the thyroid cancer is likely caused by the treatment of his cancer in his youth, it is not uncommon.
Think of this tho, you could be hit by a truck tomorrow and die, all any of us have is right NOW. I suggest you need to do what you know in your heart is right, for this present time. What the future holds is not ours to know. Live each day as if it is your last and you cannot go wrong.

Pray, be as supportive as you can be, and continue to have positive thoughts about his prognosis. If you stay positive it will lift his spirits. I have a friend that is going through cancer. It's Non hodgkins lymphoma, but she has spots in her chest, neck and now her sinuses (she's 27!). There is a high survival rate with this type of cancer, but she is afraid the treatment could make her sterile as well as cause another type of cancer in the future. When I speak to her, I offer kind words, I make her laugh, I rarely even mention the word cancer. Do the same. Don't let cancer beat your relationship. Beat it!!!

If you love him and he loves you .. then get married. I think it's better to know true love, no matter how short a time it may be, than to never know true love at all.
Nobody knows what the future will hold. Perfectly healthy people die every day in car accidents, murders, etc. Do you think they spent their life thinking: hmmm, I can't do anything positive regarding my future, because I might die today or tomorrow?!?!!?

If you love him you shouldn't worry about the future, the truth is there is not guarantees for anyone.

no one knows how much tI'me they have-i could sit hear and tell you about the scares i have endured-but it's not about me-if you love him stand by him-it will help him survive and you can have that fairy tale-im a science geek not a story teller-but the research i have done on my own -about ones self worth- happiness- health and love blows science away -congrats on your upcoming wedding-go for it!!!!
