Babushka means "a grandma" and is a diminutive form of 'baba' which is basically an old woman, but it can be used as a slang to mean any woman (a broad). It can also mean a head scarf worn by old women.

Funny thing some one called me that when I was a kid, and I did not know what it meant..I thought it was a girls'name.
