Bi-polar or manic depression is one of the harder depressions to get over. Some of the things i did was just deal with the low points there gonna be there and theres nothing you you can really do to stop it except accept you have it and look towards the points when you arent in a rut

I won't go so far as to call this a cure. But from what you say, you seem to be a morning person. So do as much of your stuff in the morning and during the day as you can, and hit the sack early. Also, try getting more natural light, and go for a brisk walk in the mornings. And perhaps in the afternoon, if it's not too hot or whatever.
Mind you, this is not a cure. But it will help lessen the symptoms. If what you've got is clinical depression, you really should see a doctor about it.
Good luck!

Hi, yes depression is a most common disorder in the world because of heavy mental stress in daily life, so my suggestion is that try to keep your mind always cool, i know its bit difficult but if you can try that's not impossible, keep smiling that costs nothing know so read books, watch movies, attend theaters etc where you will have Chance to laugh, then one more advise but that may need some time from your schedule but am sure that definitely works, what i mean to say is start jogging, yoga and meditation don't let that practice, at least try for three months you will definitely see the miracle, good luck.
Cheers,
Harsha

Exercise is a free antidepressant. Get plenty of sleep, stay on a schedule and be sure to have an active social life. If depression continues, see a therapist for additional help.

if it's bad you can get sessions with a doctor and they just let you talk and give you advice..... but if you don't want to go to a doctor sometimes chatting about it with a close friend, parent, sibling, someone that you are close to. good luck! sometimes it passes on it's own too, but it makes you feel better when you talk. keeping a journal of your moods will help you/your doctor figure out if you actually have depressions and i love having a journal to just go rant off....

QUIT BEING SO SELF-ABSORBED AND GET OUT INTO THE WORLD. GIVE TO OTHER PEOPLE WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOURSELF. GIVE THEM ATTENTION, ADMIRATION, COMPLIMENTS, TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE IMPORTANT, VALIDATE THEM, CARE ABOUT THEIR FEELINGS, TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE SPECIAL, SHOW THEM RESPECT AND ACCEPTANCE, EMPATHY, AND COMPASSION. MASTER A SKILL AND TEACH IT TO SOMEONE. THE POINT IS, QUIT FOCUSING ON YOU YOU YOU, WHAT MAKES YOU COMFORTANLE, YOU HAPPY, AND YOUR NEEDS. GIVING TO OTHERS BRINGS SO MUCH JOY TO YOURSELF, AND MAKES YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO PEOPLE. START DOING MORE EXERICISE, BECAUSE IT HELPS YOUR BODY MAKE MORE ENDORPHINS. IF YOU SUFFER FROM LACK OF MOTIVATION, TRY CHANGING "I CAN'T" TO "I AM NOT WLLING TO" AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. THEN REMEMBER, IT TAKES LONGER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING THAN TO JUST DO IT. AND GET IT DONE WHILE YOU STILL HAVE THE MOMENTUM. THIS WAY YOU CAN BUT TIME TO BE SPONTANEOUS. AND THEN, CARPE DIEM!!!!

exercise, proper nutrition, good sex, anything that releases endorphins. get rid of the junk in your life, drugs, bad relationships, crappy friends. find something you really enjoy doing, that you can do in the evenings. a good book or playing music. get out and enjoy the sunshine, that always helps me!
