Yes mine is very spoiled. She goes everywhere I go. She sleeps by me and we share a pillow. She sleeps under the covers like a human. when i go to the store I buy her something at least 70% of the time. She has got to where when I come home and she knows it is not groceries then she will go through all the bags like a kid to find her present. I bought a 400 dollar camera and guess who is on 95% of the pictures it would be my baby. If i had the money or when i become rich I will buy her a black collar with diamond studs in it. She is a boston terrier and her name is Jatie and you can see her here.

All I talk about is my baby. She is the sweetest, smartest pet i have ever owned. She is my heart.

There is a fine line between abuse and discipline when it comes to dogs. Yes, they should be treated well and loved BUT, you have to know a thing or two about dog psychology to make it work out best for both the dog and yourself.
Dogs by nature have a ranking system in the pack. This is something that they retained from the time when they evolved from the wolves. It is a good and responsible practice to try to keep the dog at the bottom of the ranking among all the family members. That way everybody can love and care for the animal without running into the risk of the dog simply misbehaving or being disobedient to even having the tendency to attack it's owners.
Just because the dog is at the bottom of the rank doesn't mean it is not taken well care of as that is exactly what happens to low a ranked wolf in a pack who’s pack takes good care of it.
You can find out more about this from a dog trainer or from plenty of sites online regarding dog training.
Good luck, and oh.. its very cute.

Hehe! Intelligent canine! I might maintain giving him the treats, however handiest when he simply goes to the bathroom. Additionally, it sounds like you're giving the treats when he comes again within the condo--so the behaviour you're reinforcing is coming within the condominium, no longer going to the lavatory. I suppose the quickest method to change the challenge behaviour would be to give him the deal with outside, right away after he relieves himself so he friends the treat with going to the lavatory, as an alternative than coming back inside of. If he still thinks he must get a deal with inside, simply chortle at him and give him some petting, then ignore his begging. He'll work out beautiful rapid what actaully will get him the deal with.

Absolutely! My wife and I have 2 Siberian Huskies and they are spoiled. One dog we got as a stray and it was obvious she had been abused. With alot of attention, patience, and TLC, she is starting to come out of it quite nicely. The other husky we adopted from our local animal shelter. Although we do have children of our own, we think of these dogs as our "kids" too, and consider them part of the family. They sleep with us, and during the day they lay around inside the house. They also refuse to move for us or get out of our way when they are laying around - they just assume we will walk around them or step over them, which we do. My wife actually had to nudge one of our dogs with the vacuum cleaner (while the vacuum cleaner was running) in order to get the dog to move so she could vacuum where the dog had been laying. In the summertime, they have their own plastic "kiddie" pool that they like to get in to cool off. Yeah, we spoil our dogs!

My German shepherd's nickname is "Daddy's Widdle Pwincess," if that tells you anything. Case in point:
I was gone for the weekend, and when I got back, Jamie wasn't eating. I called my husband at work and told him that I thought she needed to go to the vet.
His reply was, "Oh, don't worry about that. She had an upset tummy last night, so when I took her to work with me this morning, I stopped off at Wendy's and bought her two plain hamburgers."
Took her to work with him???? WENDY'S hamburgers???
Our previous dogs are probably peering over the edge of the Rainbow Bridge, going, "He never took US to work! And we were lucky if we got a couple of cold McDonald's French fries!"
I plan on making my big macho husband explain things to them. ;-)
