I really like this guy. And 2 days ago I told him I liked him and I was crying so hard. Please somebody help. And he's 4 yrs older than me, if that has any effect. :)

Its hard to say for some people. It depends strongly on how long you've known each other and the connections ya'll share other than attraction. Love plays out differently for everybody and only time can really answer the question to that. It could easily be mistaken with lust and just a very strong like( sounds funny). Age doesn't matter you can love at good reasonable ages and teenagers 16 on up can fall in love, but only time will tell if your really in love.

Age never has any effect on if you're in love or not.
Love is a touchy subject, and your interests can change the way you feel about each other sometime down the road. With my boyfriend and I we've been together for months and have yet to have an arguement about anything. We can talk and never feel shy around one another. That's what I'd call a perfect in-love relationship. You can also trust him to talk to girls, hang out with a group of people, or hang with the guys without worrying about him going off to call another girl for a date. Trust is a real good indication of a good relationship.

It doesn't matter how old you are. You are in love when you don't have to ask that question. When you want to spend every spare moment with this person, and I mean every spare minute. When you can't even begin to imagine your life without them, and you wonder where they've been all your life. When you are ready and willing to share every part of yourself with them. And when you know that you can trust them completely.
As far as age, you can't control who you fall in love with. My fiancee is 5 years older than me. Now if you're like 16 and he's 20, keep in mind that that's called statutory rape whether you consent or not.

a crush is like when you have an infatuation on someone.when you see her/him it gives you butterflies all over & you fantasize abt them all day long.you realise suddenly that they're cute.sometimes you know they aren't definitely your type,but you can't stop liking them(like my situation!).love is a feeling you get frm deep down.you really feel for the person & his/her life & you care abt them a lot.you really wanna make them feel better & help them.after a while, the feeling for a crush goes away & you don't feel ANYTHING for them afterwards ,but in love you'll love that person even if you break up.at least,you'll care for them.well...that's my opinion on that-cheers!

it takes time to love or make sure you're in love. oddly, i am also in love. i'll give u a formula derived from newton's. L=d/t Love equales distance over time. 4 years, if you are in high school or middle school then that would be probably too much. my sister taught me that. good luck.

When you're a teenager, lust feels like love. It's just not. Love is not until it is reciprocated. Meaning. If there is love, it is returned. Love only exists when both people feel it. I hope this helps.

LOVE is soo huge...but it deff sounds like you like him, or else you wouldnt be talking about him. love, i dont know, im not you, i wouldnt see the same person you do if i looked at him. If you love him, you would see him not only as him, but everything he is...but for the most part, i still dont know alot about love. there are alot of aspects to it.

you just know but one way to tell is when you see him you get butterflies in your stomach and when he touches you you feel weak in the knees and when he talks its like your floating on clouds and nothing else matters except for you and him because love is not a maybe thing love is love
