I have been sick this summer. I first had my gallbladder out about two months ago and then shortly after that, I was diagnosed with viral meningitis. I have noticed that for the last few weeks that there is a lot more hair in the shower drain when I am done showering and when I run my fingers through it wet, quite a bit comes out. Should I be concerned?

It is natural for your hair to fall out. Once a year, you loose a lot more hair than usual. It's also normal for you to loose 100-200 hairs a day. It's okay. If this continues though and you get bald spots or something, go see a doctor.
