Method 1: Tie them off TIGHTLY with thin dental floss or sewing thread. You might need a friend to help get the knot really tight. In a few days, the skin tag will turn black and fall off. Method 2: Use nail clippers. Toenail clippers are best because they go straight across. Be sure to boil them or soak them in alcohol before you use them to cut skin; you don't want an infection! Also be sure to clean the skin before cutting, and you might want to take a pain reliever and put some numbing cream or spray on it before your home operation. Have fun!

If the neck of the tag is thin, you can tie the neck.
tighten the thread at intervals.
as blood stops flowing to the tag, it will get blackened and die.
It will fall off.
As we grow older, different growths and spots start coming out of skin. Skin tags are one such product of aging. The exact cause of skin tags is not known. They are also known as Acrochordons.
How Do They Look?
Skin tags look like small growths hanging with a stalk. These fleshy bumps are ugly in appearance and cause more of mental discomfort than physical.
Where Do They Appear?
Skin tags appear at different places such as neckline, below the breasts, underarms, and groin. They may also appear at different sites on the body.
Size:
They normally form in cluster of small tags of about 0.1 cm to big ones measuring up to 1 cm.
Removal:
If you can live with them, then it is ok. Otherwise, consult your doctor, who will remove them by one of the following methods.
* Surgically cutting them
* By freezing them
* By electro surgery
* By tying a suture around the stalk
The tag removal does not cause scar problem and the healing is over in a day or two. If you have keloid-forming tendency, your doctor may not remove the tags.

Tie white cotton thread around them, (tightly), leave it on for several days, 5-7, and they should come off fairly easily. By the way, DO NOT cut them off with scissors or tweezers!

Apply clear nail polish to them twice a day. They will dry up and fall off. They will not return. Good Luck.

Cut them off yourself with scissors and tweezers. Apply ice before hand to numb them up.
