No such thing as a free meal

Nowt for Nowt

Friends take time to prove they are true friends

Never call a Friend x partner even if they do. Because they will get back together.

Do unto other as you would like to be treated.

Don't look for trouble. Never start a fight, It is better to run than fight. But if it's imminent and you have no way out, then get the first one in and make it count.

It is better to be sceptical to hard luck stories that be believing as will not survive if you are gullible.

Charity begins at home.

It is better to give than receive. But it's nice.

You can be what ever you want and Life is what you make it.

Never put off what you can do today because the opportunity may never come around again.

Never think back and say What If?

Have no regrets in life as life is to short.

Push your limits each day and frighten yourself a little. You will find you can do it and you will get a buzz.

Love yourself first and foremost.

Love Life AS YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO ENJOY IT

I've learnt a lot of lessons in life and not always the ones I was expecting either, when I was younger I used to automatically judge people before I spoke to them, very arrogant of me, but served me right when I got egg on my face, so one of the most valuable I have learnt is never to judge a book by its cover.

That you alone is responsible for yourself alone, your health, your wealth, your happiness etc. No one else can be blamed for your mistakes in life, not even your parents. No one else is responsible for your well being.
Your state of mind is what will or won't bring you somewhere worthwhile. And your circumstances will mostly determine your state of mind. Now if both are bad (and snowballing), come to a standstill and realise the above! Force positive thinking and energy into your system and do something about your situation! Mix with positive people, not that they are responsible for your state of mind, but they will influence you positively! And fill you with positive energy!

I have learned that you can't always tell who "the goodies" are, by the colour of their outfits (like in the old movies). Sometimes those who really ought to be the goodies turn out to be driven by greed and self-interest and someone unexpected is being a perfect angel.

I have also learned never to shut your fingers in a car door or each cookies straight from the oven.

that's true the ones who you think would help you seem to use the oppertunity to kick you in the teeth when your down and it is always them closest to you that hurt you the most.If something seems too good to be true 95% of the time it isent true.
If your head goes then there is only you that can help you no matter who you know you are on your own in this life at the end of the day.

(1) That you can't always cope on your own & that sometimes you have to swallow your pride & ask for help.
(2) That the nympho girlfriend of yesterday turns into the frigid wife of today
(3) That after some years you enjoy farting under the bed clothes & breathing in deeply
(4) That Liz McDonald on Coronation Street has really sexy legs

That people are prepared to fight for their religion, but won't lift a finger to help a starving child.
That people will use Yahoo answers as a battle ground for their religious and political beliefs, but will not post a question or answer in support of the helpless.
What a sad bunch we are.
