Who "we"?
That "we" doesn't include "me".

Fanatics are living their last days.

I consider that apocalyptic beliefs spread seeds of terrorism: scaring people about a global destruction to come...

Big bait.

Per the apostle Paul, since the day that Jesus made the ascension into heaven after the resurrection, it started the beginning of the last days. We will be in the last days until the second coming of Jesus back to earth. That may be 2000, 3000, years - only the Lord knows. One note of interest that could be up for consideration - God's perfect number is 7. From Adam to Noah, 2000 years, From Noah to Jesus, 2000 years, from Jesus till now approx 2000 years. And we will have at some point 1000 years millennium on the earth sooooo, we could say we may be at the end of the last days. Just something to think about.

It is appropriate that we are living in the last days as a New Testament christian. In the book of Acts. ch. 1 . The disciples watch as Jesus ascends into heaven. After that point, we have been waiting for his return. Whether you are post, pan, pre, or A millennial, we as Christians are to expecting the Lords return.
I don't think it was to be right away, that would have been silly for Jesus to come right back, he had just left. I do think that we are to watch and notice what is going on in the world, like it says to in Mattew.

I believe that we are not promised one more day, so live today the best that can in your walk. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

be blessed in your journey

It is very appropriate for somone to say these are the last days when we see what jesus said that there will be fulfilled in Matthew 24 are comming to past and that the heatherns are building their nest in the stars as written in Obadiah. we have seen this even now being done , also the distress of Nations comes to past with perplexity!. see we can only answer the question if we understand where the question is relating to , and i feel it is related to the all to often mis understood point in Scriptures that speak of the term " Last Days"...now consider carefully...!

Then what the hell would they talk about? Real issues? Get real

Look at some of the answers above me, they really believe it's the end, yet they have never pay any attention to the Christians who were doing the same thing for 2000 years.

reply to person referring to "silly Christians"

Silly Christians cannot not go by the opinion of man. Silly Christians have to go by faith. I believe we are in the last day because Jesus told me to; He wants to come back and find me being a wise and faithful servant (Matthew 24).

Don't know, couldn't say so I don't. Only thing I know is any day could be our personal last day so I try to be ready always.
