Use a straightening conditioner like Pantene's smooth and sleek, moisture is the culprit for frizzy hair, blow dry completely, use a hair oil when your through, i think they're refered to as gloss or polishers in the beauty aisle. I have really long hair and its a ***** to keep it from going frizzy.

How To Straighten Wavy Hair
What Should You Know?
It seems that if we have straight hair, we want curly. If we have curly, we want it straight. Growing up in the seventies, we did everything we could to straighten our hair, even if it meant using the iron! Today, I am presenting you with an easier way to straighten your curls.
* Wash and condition hair.
* Blot dry. Hair should be almost dry when you begin.
* Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. You will be drying the bottom layers first.
* Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.
* Take down a new section of hair and proceed as directed above.
* Work your way up the layers until all sections are dry and straightened.
* To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under. Finish your styling with a blast of cool air if your hairdryer has this capability.

Start by using certain shampoos for wanting straight hair. (shampoos dont always give you the straight hair you are looking for) When your hair is wet, take a round barrel brush and blowdry it while brushing it straight...
There are many products that you can get to improve your hair with your without a straightener! (balm, syrum) I have the same problem with my hair! Bedhead has really good products that will keep your hair smooth and keep the frizz out! I forget the name, but its in a tall lime green can/bottle!!! Using a straightener always gives your hair an extra nice sleek look to it!

It all depends, if you want it to be permanent a hair dresser can chemically straighten it. It's expensive but it stays for like 6-10 months

If you have long hair, you can cover it with a washcloth and iron it. That's what we used to do in the good ol' hippie days to get that really straight look. Just don't burn it.
