i guess if you had a boss that understood it would make things a little more easier for you and for your job. if they know about your depression and give you problems because of it then i would find a new job, if not then stay around a little longer and maybe try to talk to your boss about some problems you are having with your job.

Does your job have a program to help people in your position? Do you like your job? If your boss knows nothing about depression or doesn't believe there is such a thing, then I really feel you should find another job. Just make sure where ever you go that there is something in place to help your depression. Maybe through your health insurance. It's hard enough to fight depression without having people around you that don't understand.

Would it be worth it if you leave your job for just a reason? Depression comprises of stressing yourself to achieve their expectation or your expectation and is sometimes hindering us to accomplish our goal. If a small challenge can put you down, what do you think will happen to you? Be strong! Try not to think negative at this period, search for yourself. Divert your attention to what is bothering you, give second thoughts to issues. Sometimes some people behave unintentionally. Lack of communication that leads to misunderstanding, misinterpretation, lack of sleep and bad eating habits (which in some cases, aggravates mood swings, anxiety, and irritability.), are the common factors. Think it over. Regret is always in the end. Now a day it’s not easy to find a job. If you really think of plan B, which is finding a new job, then let it be. It’s you who will decide.

I suspect you re on medication. Maybe only for depression. Check and see if maybe you are Bi-Polar. I felt my boss was on me all the time. Then I found I was Bi-Polar and got on some different medication. The paranoia has gone away. I hope that works. Also if you re not happy with you re treatment of yourself at work. Find another. The saying goes. One door opens when another closes.

It is sad to hear of your plight. I will be praying for you. I recommend that you stick at the job and perhaps consult HR (human resources at your work place). They cant dismiss you over depression when you will have informed them from before and furnished them with a sick note from your doctor. It needs to be genuine though.. Avoid late nights. Get enough sleep. Eat healthly. Try some exercise also. Highly recommended. Try St. Johns Wort also and if it becomes clinical seek medical expert advice. Remember. the race is not given to the SWIFT but to the one who ENDURES to the end!! In love.

I would go into treatment if I had that. Alot of jobs would cause your depression to get worse, since many of them can be very stressful.
