I have no idea if this applies to you, or if your case is even this severe, but I found this to be an interesting read.

If you wear contacts, then use eye drops by Moisture (EMO). I find those to be helpful. Or, you might just need to try another brand of contacts because the kind you have may not be letting enough oxygen through.
But, sometimes people get dry eyes from medications they take. Does this apply to you?
Really, without knowing anything else about you there could be tons of reasons why your eyes are dry. Hopefully something I listed above will be helpful to you.

Yes, you may try these do-it-yourself remedies first:
- Blink your eyes frequently and make it a habit.
- Wash your face with water frequently
- Use a pair of zero power plain glasses
When the above does not work, there are many over the counter drugs, which can be put directly in the eyes, that will help you.

i use something called restasis for them - my eyes are so dry that my left eye twitches all the time. The eye dr gave me a ton of the stuff, so i am not sure if you need an RX for it or not - good luck - dry eyes are annoying! :)

Optrex - available at any chemist... very gentle on the eyes and soothing. If the problem persists - see your doctor... you may have an infection.
