My hair has been growing like crazy lately and all I can figure is that my shampoo and conditioner are to blame! I am using Garnier Fructis Fortifying "Length and Strength" shampoo and conditioner. I got my nails done at the beginning of Aug. and they have been growing too! Eating a protien-rich diet helps hair and nails grow as well. Some women take pre-natal vitamins, even when they aren't pregnant, just for the benefits it gives their hair and nails!
Good luck!

If you want to get hair on your head this is a good method. Rub salt into your scalp every day for a week. At the end of the week stand with your head about 12 inches away from a bowl of water. At this point the hairs, being so thirsty, will shoot out to get at the water. Quickly tie a knot at the base of each one which will stop them getting back when you take your head away, and there you are, back with a hairy head.

No. Don't fall for all these "cures." Your genes are what cause baldness and while Rogaine might work on a certain part of your skull, it's not a solvent for total baldness. IF you eat healthier foods, that might make your hair healthier (as well as the rest of your body) but it wouldn't stop hair loss.

I don't think so. The loss of hair has to do with hormones.
