she gets tv I have tried to find one and I keep getting the kind where the whole moniter can be used as a tv. I want the kind with the picture in the corner while i play on line games anyone know what they call them and any advice about buying one is appreciated.

In order to watch TV on your computer, you'll need to install a TV Card. There are several models available at TigerDirect.com. It should come with software so you can watch TV in a resizable window.
I don't think you'll be able to get this to show up while you are playing a game. Most online games require your computer's monitor to be in full screen mode. You can try starting the game and pressing ALT + Enter to return the game to a window. Good luck!

Sounds like you have the TV program set to full screen. Normally there is a key (such as esc) that will take the program out of full screen. If you can not guess the key, on your friends computer go into the Helps for the program and look for Full Screen. You will find the information in there. (As I do not know which of the 40-50 tv tuners you are using, I can not look the key for you)
