Take the toddler with you...it is important that you keep an eye on them at all times. Or, if you just can't stand the idea of keeping the child with you in the bathroom, place him/her in their crib (given that they don't yet know how to climb out). You'll know they'll be safe and you can potty in piece. Well, relative peace. Be prepared for a crying fit that may be hard to soothe if you unceremoniously dump them in their crib and take off. It really might be easier, believe it or not, just to take them with you.

Good luck!

Take the kids car seat to the bathroom with you. Put kid in their car seat in the tub, and close curtain until your finished using the bathroom. That is if its a # 1. If you gotta do a #2 wait until nap time. Nobody wants to smell that, even a 1 year old.

at that age they want to see where you are going and what you are doing. that's how they learn to go potty, you can close the door and let them cry (scream) on the other side or open it and let them know you are ok and still around..if this is at home -if in public keep baby in stroller and take with you in the handycap stall and you can turn the stroller around if you don't want them to "peek" at you.
either that or hold it until mom comes pick them up(which could be a long time?)

properly, the 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous might desire to be positive mutually as left on her very own for a minute or 2. that's ultimate to get the two and four 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous distracted with a (risk-free) sport, like dolls or vehicles. be sure to be rapid, nonetheless! As for the toddler... that's maximum secure to place the toddler in a crib or play pen. (yet no longer for a protracted time!) Lock the doorways interior the homestead while you're apprehensive one in all them might wander away, or get themselves into hassle. As a ordinary rule, retaining them distracted and taking part in on their very own for a jiffy is extremly efficient to me as quickly as I babysit!

Wow, you should'nt be babysitting if your not even mature enough to say bathroom or restroom. And if the parents are anywhere near normal, they would have a bathroom in their own house! Use that one!

use the potty. Keep the door open so you can see/hear the child.
