I bet he used more than cannibis. There are many indigenous plants local to that area with stronger effects than cannibas. The implications here is that Jesus was a shaman.
;)
The water to wine story reminds me of a hallucinogen that one eats and urinates, then the people drink the red urine and feel the effects. oh well...

No, I'm not going to bother with the websites. Expert or not, there's no way Chris Bennet could know anything of the sort. Only an eyewitness to the life of Christ could know that, and they've been dead and buried for centuries - and none of the writings they left behind said anything about that. Chris is making it up.

I always thought that myrrh was a strange gift for a newborn. Then I supposed that Myrrh was marijuana and that it was probably as a pain aid for Mary after giving birth.
Now I'm agnostic, so I really don't "know" anything. I do suppose that if God did decide to be a human for a lifetime it would not be a true experience of the human experience without a little intoxication and sexual intercourse.

Sorry, pot heads. Jesus, (Some of us know Him as Yeshua) didn't even need food or water for 40 days and there's no record of Him blowing weed. He's the All in All, the Greatest, the Strongest, Son of God, Master of the universe. It's the old excuse, everybody does it. Well my b/f and I don't, because pot makes you stupid at the same time it fools you into thinking you're smart. Look at the evidence: you actually have the nerve to believe God's Son would need to smoke weed.

How gullible are you? Of course Jesus didn't, there is no mention of cannabis anywhere in scripture, though wine is mentioned in many places. The bible doesn't 'hide' anything about anyone, the worst of the worst is right out their in black and white, yet no one is smaking weed. The pot culture wants desperately to gain acceptance in our culture, that is one platform they work off of, but I resent them using Christianity to reach their goal, which is legalized marijauna. If you feel the need to weed, go do what you want, it's your life, just leave the church alone, we have enough naysayers to deal with.

Hemp WAS used by the hebrews in the making of oil used for ceromonies especially in the annointing of their kings. There's no reason to believe Jesus and Mary Magdeline didn't light a doobie after sex like most people.
