Cats can be the smartest and stupidest creatures of all time. You aren't in charge of a cat, a cat is in charge of you. Cold hard fact. Sorry.

Cat's do some of the stangest things, i have to agree with you that some cats just don't act like cats. i have a friend's cat that simply in the middle of the night. usually around midnight or so, would run around the house wildly & bumping into stuff.

i told my friend that it's their way of just letting loose the frustration of being couped up for long periods time..lol

that is one of those stupid pet tricks, take it on tv! my cat lays on it's back often. Some cats do that. also mine when laying down will just fall over with a plop! my cats like to roll like that in the damp soil over in my neighbor's yard. And in the grass. And the cement. And the gravel. Some cats like to roll!

What's annoying about that? Several of my cats like to roll over to give their backs a good scratch!

Cats do stuff like that. My cats do it all of the time, I have read that when cats show their bellies and roll over it's a sign that they trust you.

maybe he does think hes a dog, I know its kinda funny, but I had a kitten that was raised with my lab and the kitten tryed nursing off the dog thinking it was his mother, and the dog actually let the cat do it! needless to say, the cat acted like that for a very long time.
