i want him to be near so as to keep the door opened he might come back and forgive me for what i did
i talked about marriage at the wrong time i stressed him so much and made him under the pressure or fears of losing me

Why would you want him back? Things will never be the same again. Remember, 'love' is 3rd on the list of requirements for a relationship. First is trust, then respect and THEN love. You can love someone and not trust them and not respect them and it will never work..... however you can have a really good relationship if you trust someone and you respect them - and then it may develop into love - not the other way around.
He's your "x" for a reason.....

The real ? is do you really want them back or is this just a loneliness thing? If they were a jerk originally then they probably still are, if you screwed up bad then the question is are they forgiving. Only you know if you parted on good terms. Have they moved on and it bothers you? Getting them back depends on a lot of things. but generally it's good to leave the past in the past.

It depends on what you mean by "back". Do you mean getting back together or getting revenge? If you ex is, well, an ex, then he/she is an ex for a reason and you probably should avoid trying to get back together because it will never work. If you mean that you want to get back at your ex for something, then you should either just let it go, of make sure that you avoid embarrassing yourself in the process.

Really hard.. Not much people will go back because their heart were broken before and it's already heal so they don't want to go back to work things out.. What's past is past.. Let it go.. It's easier for you and the ex... For example... Our skin are smooth and perfect and accidently cut by a knife.. The scar will be there forever but it is heal..We can not go back to make it back the way it were

Depends on the ex, all I did was ask mine if he wanted to go back out and he said yes...we ended up breaking up a week later...

If they loved you the first time and then you broke their heart,
you are not going to get them back unless you prove that your love is true. You have to show them and make sure that they dont love anyone else.
Some people dont go backwards so make sure that they are one of the people that do.
