Everyone gets their feelings hurt when you point out the fact that whores (as in pregnant single teens) get special treatment (as in being offered GED tests and such) and then you're the one told to "grow up" when you state that it'd be a good idea to let the smart kids take it and bypass highschool. (There really are kids that'd do better not going to highschool because it's pointless for them, and I'm not speaking of myself, so just f*ck off.) And am I the only one who thinks that if you sleep around and are to stupid to go get free birth control from the community hospital, you're a stupid whore? I mean really...
Ok...I just asked a question somewhere else about why the GED isn't available to the smart kids but it is to dumb whores...I got bitched at for this and that, and told to "go back to school" and that I'm the stupid one. Will someone just tell me that they understand the fact that the school system and society has gotten way too lovey-dovey about the stupid kids?

Once more...I am not talking about myself. There's alot of smarter people than me. But is it fair to make them suffer through school and let the dumb ones off? And how am I so ignorant? It'd save schools the money of having to provide for kids that could bypass it.

I loved your question! It has a Lot of Merit and yes it is true that the Stupid among the Masses get the better treatment. Yet if you have a legitimate question like this one you truly shouldn't ask it on here or one of the Stupid Whores We are talking about will call you intolerant or some other Moron will tell you to pray for them to be helped. This is Yahoo Answers But only if you are asking politically correct questions due to the fact that the Masses are idiots, and the Majority are those teen mothers you are talking about and she will probably one day be your boss.
Oh and William T- All schools in America including all 4 year schools Will and Have accepted a GED as long as you score High enough on there tests and Have the money they do not care.

A GED is not an equivalent to a H.S. diploma. Not even the military recognizes it as a valid diploma. Also most 4-yr colleges do not accept it.
The GED is an designed and still functions as an option if you are going to a trade or vocational tech school when you finish H.S. If you want to be a pharmacy technician or do HVAC, then the schools that teach this skill accept a GED.
The idea is that it offers people a way to gain a skill that will allow them to earn a livable wage.
I would not take it as an option if you are academicaly gifted because it severly limits your options after H.S. If you want to get done early, leave the public system and look for a virtual school or a homeschooling company where you can do your work online and at your own pace.

And I'm one of them.
I think pregnant teenagers and 15 year old boys who do drugs are the ones who need an education the most.
Smart people can do that on their own. They don't need help to learn the stuff you start "learning" at 7th grade.
And smart teenagers certainly do not need to be told not to drink or smoke or do drugs or have unprotected sex.
And people should know this. Good grades at school means nothing.
I've seen boys doing drugs and smoking and going to parties and have a completly degrading life outside of school. But they're excelent at making tests. Yet...I don't think they're receiving an education are they?
Grades are used because that's the quickest way for the emplyer to see if your "apt" for a certain activity.
You become a number with a passport picture by its side.

hm, well, maybe they arent so stupid after all? You get the short end of the stick, and end up paying for them for the rest of your lives. There are other options, and the ged isnt gonna beat out a highschool diploma, much less a college degree, so why dont you just take ap classes or sign up at the local community college when you become a junior and take classes that count both towards your degree and your highschool diploma.

OK first of all if you were so smart, why would you want to get your GED in stead of a actual high school diploma? Being the rocket scientist you are, I'm sure you already knew that jobs look at HS diplomas more so then a good enough diploma (GED). So maybe your the stupid whore, and lazy might i add,cuz please believe if I had a chance to graduate high school i would. I used to be embarrassed cuz i do have a GED but now that I know there are people like you out there, I'm more embarrassed for you......hey thanks!!

I don't really like the way you asked the question,but I kinda see your point.
What baffles me is why there are programs such as WIC(women,infants,children) for single women with kids,yet single fathers aren't qualified for it?
Loans made through(not by) the Small Business Administration for "women and minorities" are a government program,yet,there isn't a program for "middle-class" working Caucasian men!
Yes,there is a correlation here,and it has to do with the disbursement of the American taxpayer's money.

well read you question and the content of it. calling a preg. teen a whore isn't really a mature thing to do. when you have children you will understand why they are treated the way they are. until then all I can say is pray for them and pray for some tolerance for yourself.

Has to do with our feel good society. When more people are going into counseling than math and science you know people are worried about the way they feel. Besides why work when you can have babies and get paid.

I don't see why you classify yourself as smart. You just seem ignorant and hateful.
A GED doesn't open as many doors as a high school diploma and it's very difficult to get one. Plus, ANYONE can get a GED. You really do need to go back to school since you don't know any of this.
