for some higher level of purposes which we cannot see for the moment (but hopefully will understand when the the time comes) God wants us to stick to his original plan

the world if full of pain and suffering, which is part of life. Tat is the way life has always beenl If God ended pain and suffering, life wouldn't not be what it is now. We live constantly with an awareness that today we could die, considering we only live 70 years, we have to live like today is our last day, enjoy it, use it. God has a plan to end all suffering just like you suggested but it isn't for earth, it's in Heaven that happens. Be faithful till the end and you will see with your own eyes a paradise beyone measure, where sickness cannot be found, where a place is made just for you.

God does not want anybody to suffer. We are His beloved children. Unfortunately we have left Him and come to this material world. Actually we do not belong here. We are no our bodies. Our bodies are only meant to get old, to get sick and die. And we, the spirit soul, will then accept another body which will also get old, get sick and die. That is our position in this material world. However, if we make the decision that we want to surrender to the Lord and serve Him with love, He will make an arrangement that we regain our spiritual bodies and upon leaving this material body return to the spiritual world, where there is no birth, death, old age and disease, where everything is full of knowledge and full of bliss.
God says in the Bhagavad-gita (18.66):
sarva-dharmÄn parityajya
mÄm ekamÌ ÅaranÌ£amÌ vraja
ahamÌ tvÄmÌ sarva-pÄpebhyo
moksÌ£ayisÌ£yÄmi mÄ ÅucahÌ£
"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear."
You can read more at http://bhagavadgitaasitis.com/
If we pray for material things, we may or may not get what we want. But even if we get, say, good health, for example, after some time we will become sick again, because that is the nature of this body. Better to pray to the Lord that we can become His eternal servant. That will free us from all suffering. So do you want it?

The question that man has been asking God since Adam is can we control God and have God do what we want him to do for us? Will, I believe over time God has answered this question many times, in the form of Noah's flood, when the Israelites created the golden calf, and when they crucifixed Jesus Christ and if I am not forgetting one imporant thing when Eve ate the apple from the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden too.

God does answer but often its in his time and his will. He knows what we need and can handle. Imagine if he gave everyone what they prayed for holy hanna we would not be safe or honest or very smart. We often pray for selfish reasons. I am a christian and i have found myself doing this. I have prayed that people who are ill live then i realized even though it hurt what would their quality of life been?? I realized in my aunts case(she was only 6 years older than me and we grew up together) she would have been like a vegtable and she would have hated that she was so out going and fun.And i prayed for a car once and guess what i got that and i also ended up losing my job and it was repo'ed so now i think what i ask for and what is really important and needed. We cant question GODS wisdom now but when we get to heaven we can ask away. It like with our kids and our parents before us he has our best interest at heart.

Because he's a sadist who believes in the eternal punishment of mankind for a "six thousand" year grudge. Anyone who says that God talks to them, or answers their prayers is incredibly arrogant. Why would he talk to you and not to other people - what makes you special? Why would he take time out from running that universe of his to say "cheer up joe, it'll be ok"? The answer - he wouldn't. If God exists he's very good at ignoring everything humanity does wrong - an inaction that is damning for a so-called "loving" deity.

God answers prayers: yes, no, or wait.
That question is usually asked when He doesn't answer the way we want Him to. If you are a Christian, you must know He has not promised us a "rose garden" on this earth. We live in a fallen world.
My God would not be who He is if He "poofed" everyones' prayers as they want them answered. He is God, not a genie in a bottle.

God hears every prayer. He answers prayers in His time, not ours. God will provide only the best for us. Some prayers may go unanswered because in the long run, what we are requesting may not be good for us.

God does answer your prayers. You just need to listen and look. It's not all about the doing for you and others. It is about providing you with the tools and knowledge to help make the changes that you are looking for.

sometimes the answer that you get is not the answer that you are looking for. sometimes when he makes the suffering stop, that is by death, in which that person that is sick is no longer suffering. You just have to except what ever answer you get from him, and even if you don't like the outcome, he is still listening to you.

I still say that he doesn't answer prayers or he would not have ignored people for thousands of years. We have to take care of these things ourselves and not depend on prayer. There will be no huge finger coming down from heaven to heal us and make things right.
