I just thought that nobody was interested in me. Now I find out that most of the girls in my class have had a crush on me at one time or the other. This is soooooooo frustrating, because I only ever find out AFTER they have a crush. They dont even flirt. I'm getting fed up. Next time somebody says "(x) has a crush on you", I'm just gonna confrunt them if I like them back. Anyone else have this problem???

In the past, the reason was that it was considered not appropriate for a girl, or woman, to make the first MOVE. They usually let you know in other ways, such as a private smile, and a wave. They also would have a girlfriend arrange to have the intended targets informed of the their interest in him.
Today, with the Liberated[?] women, I do not have the slightest idea why they do not make the first move!

Girls like to be pursued. You have to show some sign of interest so they can reciprocate the interest. Flirt a little and see what comes back!

Because we don't want to make a fool of ourselves, and we don't know if the other person is interested as well. Basically it's the same reason you don't make the first move.

I've taken the first move lots of times and the guy has basically told me....ahhh, your not my type.....well, damn, im female...what type are they looking for.
Men can be very shallow, esp. when it comes to looks.
