I'm 17, I'm 5'10, and I'm not fat, or anything. I weighed 183 pounds at one point, I got down to about 174 pounds, then a week later I bounced back to around 179 pounds. Right now, I weigh around 177 pounds. I want to get down to 165 pounds.
I don't eat that much, I've been exercising, I haven't touched any junkfood.
What am I doing wrong? What can I do to lose more weight-- fast?

Maybe you need a bit more of a drastic cut on food. Try only eating breakfast and supper. Don't eat too much either. I can easily lose 10 pounds in a week if I want to, but I could also gain 10 pounds. I'm trying to maintain my weight where it is right now because it's been dropping so much...lol. Don't munch in between meals and try to have supper early if you can,,,I mean, don't have supper at 7:30pm. Try around 5:00pm if you can, because the later time you eat actually matters. Try to eat fruit with your meals. Example,,,,at breakfast I always have the same thing. It's like store bought granola oats mixed with diced banana, blue berries, and shredded wheat with milk. My own homeade ceareal that is extremely healthy with no preservatives like regular cereal. So try to eat more natural things. Substituting water for other drinks is best too. This is just what works for me. And if you really want to make sure your losing weight, do 100 crunchies before you go to bed. That might seem like alot but you can do the crunchies in 10 minutes max. It works :)

It's possible, since you said you don't eat a lot, that you're not eating enough really. You have to eat to lose weight. You are young and have a great metabolism right now. For your age and height, you should be consuming about 2145 calories a day (assuming you do 1 hour of exercise a day) to lose 1-2lbs. a week. If you need to, drop that by 350 calories a day if you're doing less than 1 hour of exercise a day (about 1795 calories). Make sure you're getting plenty of lean protein, carbs in the form of whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, low fat dairy and don't forget to hydrate. Good luck!

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.
But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.
So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Remember the above (not on site) and see site below to re-learn how to eat so you can be thin and fit for life.

dear friend loosing weight is something which is like long term planning.
Your body is still adapting to the changes you implemented.
The just need to sink in.
Then there is the liquid intake.
If your body does not get enough water it tends to hold the water in for reserve so that will be on top of your weight.
Anyway dietricians know all about it.

If your working out, you could be gaining muscle...which weighs more than fat..
You shouldn't focus so much on weight..just try to get yourself to look good.
