The problem is that people base their arguments on emotions and not facts.

The issue is illegal immigration, not the people, if you would just focus on the problem and not the people it would be a whole nother story. When you focus on the problem you'll be able to make them understand why illegal immigration is bad for them and how it turns them into modern slaves. if you focus on that and not them it would be easier to solve the problem

But if you attack people and call them criminals and all those kind of racist expressions, people will always put barriers and would not listen to your arguments.

But is also a good excuse for racists to spread hatred. You reap what you sow, if you reap apples dont expect to sow oranges, therefore, if you reap hatred dont expect to sow love.

More racial hatred will only create more osamas, Im agree that illegal immigration have to stop, cause its a demographic problem, theres not space here for so many people, but that is the problem not the people

Timothy: Go head, but I guarantee you that 50 years from now you will still be trying to solve the same problem without the hope of solving it.

You ever see a person sitting on a park bench. Then they reach into a bag and pull out some popcorn or pieces of old bread.

One and two birds fly over to eat the free food being supplied.
The birds are providing entertainment to the provider. Later another provider comes, because they like the idea of feeding birds, well the number of birds increase.

Soon a sign is placed, "Do Not Feed The Birds."

Now, do the providers continue to feed the birds or break the law?

Your arguements makes some sense but where you go wrong is my saying that we have no right to call illegal immigrants criminals. What are they? They came into this country without following the law. That is something a criminal does.

If I were to come into your house, walk in, take your money, make you lose your job, make the school system spend money on programs to teach me to speak your language instead of other much needed programs, etc etc

Would you call the police?

Oh and I do debate facts. I have never called anyone here a name. Saying that illegal immigrants are criminals is not calling them a name - it is a fact!

I am an American born and raised in New York City, and this is what I think about immigration:

What I find interesting is that immigrants are increasingly the ones who are doing the jobs that no one else wants, such as doing farm work, driving taxi cabs, etc. Can you imagine what life would be like without immigrants to fulfill those roles? Most likely the price of basic farm goods would increase dramatically, because Americans would absolutely riot if they were paid immigrant wages. And those dramatically increased wages would undoubtedly be passed onto the consumer.

At the same time, immigrants and the children of immigrants also seem to be taking a hugely prominent role in the higher-salaried positions available, such as doctors, lawyers, and other knowledge roles. Can you imagine if those same immigrants took their talent elsewhere? All the advances in Medical Science and Technology would be in other countries- but luckily WE get them here in the land of opportunity because that's what America is all about, because we attract great talent with our standard of living. And we benefit IMMENSELY. Microsoft, Goole, etc. would NOT exist today if we could not draw upon the amazing computer expertise that exists in China and India. And think about all the money that comes into our county because of these strong companies.

If someone native to America, who has so many advantages and who enjoys greater opportunity to reap value from our system (exempting those in extreme socioeconomic poverty), can't compete with a foreigner, than it's their fault for not stepping up and extracting as much as they can from what our nation has to offer. America is about competition, and the best form of competition is against oneself- immigrants offer a wonderful source of energy that 4th, 5th, and older generations have lost due to complacency.

This energy and drive is ESPECIALLY important as foreign countries get more and more dominant because they are now KEEPING their talent more with their own government programs and increasing wages abroad.

I think you'll find that most people who take illegal immigration seriously can also debate it seriously ... no need for racial slurs or hate, the facts speak for themselves ...

It is a fact that big corporations want to create slave labor ... they don't care about people, legal or illegal, they want to make a quick buck ...

I also don't think no matter what we say on this forum any of our elected representatives will listen ... they are hand in glove with business, and business is what is ruling this country ...

People fly off the handle in pure frustration from time to time on both sides of the fence, and some are here purely to create mischief ... but I think we can weed out the wheat from the chaff, don't you?

The only way forward as I see it is to build that dratted fence, secure the borders once and for all ... and vote out our ineffectual representatives in Washington and hopefully replace them with people who represent the American people ....

It's not about race. It's about people coming here illegally and draining our infrastructure by not putting back in what they take out.

The problem will illegal aliens is that they take our hard earned tax dollars in the form of medical care, education, welfare...since they are illegal and don't pay taxes, they don't put back into the system that they are taking from.

I have to pay for medical coverage for my family. They don't. I have to pay for my child's education through taxes. They don't.

For those immigrants that enter the US legally, I say "welcome". You are now a contributor to our system. For those who come here illegally and take my tax money to support their families, I say "get out and come back the legal way".

Race has nothing to do with it.

I don't "hate" them. I do resent them coming here illegally and en mass. I also dislike the spineless politicians who do nothing about it by selling out to the special interest groups.
