If the frog is dead in the center of the pond he will never get out of there unless someone or something moves it. Dead frogs don't move much.

The frog is not dead, he is dead in the centre of the pond - another way to say exactly or precisely in the centre.
If it was deceased it would be "a dead frog in the centre of the pond" - just like you would say a green frog but not a frog green!

but if they did ...good jumpers take 1 leap and one day to get out.
Bad jumpers stay in the pond cause they miss the next lily pad ..

Isn't the frog dead? Only his ghost can jump now and it would take two days. But the frog itself isn't going anywhere.
