My cat gags when doing the above. It doesn't matter if the comb is new or old, clean or dirty, large or small.

Cats have a central nervouse system that is not as complex as other mamals such as humans and dogs. When they hear a noise that they believe could possibly be a threat to them, their body sometimes reacts in strange ways such as gagging.

Just like people alot of pets have their own little corks. Just like some people cant stand nails running down a chalk board. Some fabrics make my teeth hurt when i touch them, I dont know why they just do. But a pet is only as weird as its owner, right?lol.

LOL I had to try it with my cat!! I dunno but I guess it would be equivalent to our teeth hurting when nails scratch a black board

She is probably irratated by the noise. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII "MEOW!"
