You don't need to worry much about it and about him and about you. You are still very young and so is he at 17.
Anyway, ask him directly if he really loves you and he is willing to marry you.. Then let him come to your place, introduce him to your parents. Build a house for your parents and for you.. Buy a farmland for your future, buy yourself a car so you can go anywhere in Iran.
Enjoy,,, and if he really loves you, he will give you everything.

Then ask him if he has a job... If he can go on supporting you and your family, on his own and not just because he is one of those rich kids... (And how sure are you)
Well, if everything will be alright then.. go ahead marry him there in your place..
And if he likes to bring you to US, go because he is your husband.. But bring along with you a maid, a sister or who ever in your family who can help you with house hold chores. Because in US it is most of the time to each his own.

I think that true love will win in the end. But with what is going on in Iran now it will be difficult. I think that you should go to him, but don't get your hopes up, these relationships on the net are not always what they seem, you could be on man on the Internet and another in real life. I'm not saying not go, by all means I'm just saying that he may not be exactly what you read about him.

Be friends first. Love is important but must grow. Once your together forever then you can really love each other. See how good friendship can be first. Good luck.
