I'm a little nervous because I have been taken advantage of in the past. Will I be safer if I just go out drinking with members of my own church?

You look a little young to be going to bars. Are you 21? Sometimes, not all Christians are worthy companions. I know of one named Don, who has been acting like Pontius Pilate, instead of a true Christian.

Don't you know that Christians are the worst offenders. Once you get a little liquor in them, there's no telling what they'll do because they have been so repressed for so long. Liquor releases inhibitions and those tight assed Christians will just come undone. I wouldn't trust either the guys or the gals! With your good looks and wit, you would be like a magnet to them and all their perversions!!!

Since when do christians go out and drink???? no one i know does that. Nor do i. Excuse me i do if you call one glass of wine occassionally drinking. But Christians dont go out and drink that is not right. The bible says a glass of wine for the stomach.(Paul) but it says no one should drink to excess or put your selves in that position.I think staying in and having friends over and having a good time is the better way to go. Food movies games etc. Save you a bunch of money too.

When you go out you should never drink more than you can handle! By handle , I mean, do not get drunk with anyone,, alchohol has a weird tendency to make people of all walks of life do things they wouldnt normaly do.
So be responsible for yourself and stop being the victim.

Why are "Christians" going out drinking?

no. It`s silly to think that you`re not going to be taken advantage of because the guys are christian, they are still humans and have the same basic instincts that everyone else. Just control yourself when you drink, don`t trust in other people controlling themselves.

Alcohol isn't evil. It's how you use/abuse it, and what you do when you're drunk. I'm a Christian and I get drunk. I have yet, in all my years, done anything I've regretted. I hope my morals run deep enough that even drunkeness can't break them. Good luck and have fun.

no of course not!! when people are drunk they tend to not be there selves and things get ugly why drink anyways it ruins u the safest thing is to not drink. Period.
