Any sovereign country on this planet with an army has weapons. The Big Dummy gave a nickname to any weapons a foreign country has..."wmd". It means nothing, but terror in the hearts of the naive and weak-minded. It is a boogieman designed to frighten the people into actually wanting the government to overstep its lawful authorities in order to "protect" them. Religious fanatics? Look in the mirror. Even if you're an atheist, your Religion is the belief system authorized by the US Government!
