She will not wear dresses, skirts or any kind of pants. If I'm lucky to get anything on her it's usually a pair of pants after much struggling.

The less they wear the more comfortable they are.

Don't you think you would wear less if you had the opportunity?

Let her wear what she wants as long as she can, if you are going out then try to put something on her but otherwise let her be comfortable as much as she can.

Good luck.

I think its an independence thing. When kids get to the toddler phase, they are trying to be for independent.
When your at home I see not problem with her wearing her diaper and shirt, but when you go out, she needs pants. When you get ready to go somewhere, you might try to give her some choices about her pants. You could maybe lay out two or three different pants/shorts/dresses and tell her: "We are going out today. You can pick which one of these you would like to wear." You might try this and see if it works. I had problems with my 4 yr old when it came to what she wanted to wear and what I wanted her to wear. So I would pick out a few things then let her choose from what I picked out. Hope this helps!

I know with my daughter it's all about being independent. What worked for me was giving my daughter a choice - I'll pick out two pairs of pants, two tops, etc... and say which pants do you want to wear - the blue or the pink. Which top - the pink or the white. It seems to help for the most part.

This is just a phase toddlers go through. I can't seem to keep a diaper on my 16 month old. Everytime I turn around hes running down the hall butt naked :), she will grow out of it. Just remember to pick your battles. What she wears really isn't that important.

My daughter is like that. Some kids are more comfortable in little or no clothing. Just stand your ground when it comes to leaving the house or when you have visitors over. She should be free to be naked in her own home. When she gets older she'll be more modest.

I guess she hasn't seen any issues of Seventeen, YM, or Cosmo yet. Give her a few and she'll be insecure and dressing to impress everyone else in no time.
