can assume a girl can, and i quote "Go out and get herself pregnant." That is the most down right stupid, small minded retardedest thing ive heard. How is this posable? Who can a person even say that? Any one.....want to enlightten me on this?

Although it is an unfair perception, women have always been seen as bearing more responsibility for these matters than men, although it takes both a man and a woman to create a pregnancy. I suppose it is because the woman is the one who actually carries the child.

My wife is a social worker for foster children.
She supervises one child, a female, who is 13.
This child's birth-mother is 27.
The child recently remarked "I cannot wait till my 14th birthday so I can get pregnant like my mom did with me."
Stupid?
Small minded?
Retarded?
I do not think so.
Some girls do go out and "get themselves pregnant" and they are indiscriminate about how they get pregnant.
Some women are the same way.
So, before you ask your next question, consider this...
Your ignorance gives you no right to label others as stupid, small minded, or retarded.

It might happen to you too.
Esp. if you cant handle alcohol or get into drugs - so stay clear of these things and you will be just fine.
Then there is that pressure from other people you might be hanging with - if they all make out with guys and you dont then they will try and pressure you into it and call you immature and mock you for "chickening out".
Then you might come accross some guy you really really want to be "your" guy, and you would do anything to have his attention, even take the risk to get pregnant.
So theres many reasons for it, good for you if you are above these things :)

Hi J,,, I know what your saying ,, i come from a small town and when i was younger ,, two sisters quit school because it was not (proper) for young ladies to still have an education....and be pregnant....
It is like someone being a drug addict... they don't start out saying "hey, I want to be a druggie" ....
Small minds,, small people.....

I think people can be insensitive and judgmental some times.
As individuals we are responsible for ourselves and although it takes two to tango women must be responsible for themselves. The woman must take responsibility for the pregnancy. Hopefully the Man would be "Man" enough to be as responsible for the child in many more ways than just financially.

Why would some one want to go get pregnant that means no protection very big chance of getting HIV which turns to AIDS NO CURE you die slow painful death

Woman can get pregnant.
Men have sex with women who will let them.
Women can have sex with whoever they want.
Therefor, women can "go out and get themselves pregnant.
Very simple psychology and there's millions and millions of examples in the world to prove it.

it takes two to tango but if she's old enough to think she's ready for sex then she's old enough to take it upon herself to protect herself
not just from pregnancy either-there are far worse things then getting pregnant
a baby is one thing AIDS is another!
