Yes in some respects we do. But if they are overly confident in all they do then that is annoying!!
I mean in the area of having a big head and thinking they are all that. Then that gets to be very pathetic. Girls like a guy to be confident but not so confident that it makes the girl feel inferior. OK...

They should! Neither partner on a date, in a relationship, or marriage wants to be totally responsible for the other's well-being. Keep in mind that women and girls look for men, even subconsciously, as rock-steady and confident as their fathers. Confident men will stand by them and not feel threatened by the inevitable disagreement.

YES! Not arrogant or cocky, mind you, but confident, competent, able to make decisions and manage everyday life reasonably well.
