O.K., here goes (from someone who has been there):
1) You are lucky to be starting to improve your health while you are still young and probably still have some growing to do. Even if you simply stopped gaining weight, you will stretch out a bit over the next few years and appear slimmer!
(That was supposed to be uplifting)
2) I do not know where you got the 90 - 100 pound info. from, but do not be too manic about fitting into someone else's idea of what your weight should be. Remember that BMI (body mass index) is approximate and varies with body type.
3) If you really want to lose weight and keep it off, do not try to lose it too fast. When you lose weight too quickly, all the lost pounds have a nasty way of coming back (and they invite friends!)
4) Now the weight loss answer:
Eat less, exercise more. That's it.
Make sure that whatever you eat is nutritious. Think of food as clothes at the mall. For a certain amount of money you can get one outfit or lots of less expensive, more practical things. Well, for a certain amount of calories, you can have one candy bar, or a really healthy salad and some lean protein like chicken or fish!
For exercise, walking is the best around for steady weight loss. Add in extra steps whenever you can by taking the stairs instead of the elevator, taking a walk before and after school and on weekends.
Main thing is, do not give up! Remember that you have many people out there fighting the battle of the bulge right along with you.
Good luck!

The obvious answer is eat less, exercise more.
Plus, watch your diet--not just how much you can pound down, but what you eat. Go heavy on fruits and vegetables--though light on corn and potatoes--low-fat on meats, plenty of cereal grains with low sugar content, and exercise, exercise, exercise!
At your age, this kind of weight probably results from eating the wrong things, and doing too little, and only modifying those habits is going to help. If you don't know what a good diet is, ask your doctor, or try joining Weight Watchers, whose goal is to show you how and WHAT to eat, which will set good habits in you for a lifetime of good weight and nutrition.
Also, don't pick an exercise you won't do--walk or swim or lift weights, whatever you enjoy that you know you can maintain. And it's a good idea to find a friend to join you--company makes it a lot easier to exercise.
And, the best possible suggestion: don't eat if you're not hungry. That doesn't mean "I could eat' hungry, but actually having stomach pains from needing food. At your age, outside inactivity, a lot of eating difficulties stem from emotional binging--find some other way to encourage or console yourself. Read or learn a hobby, or do something to make yourself feel better about yourself. All added together, you may well come out much much better than when you first asked this question.

You can't lose your weight really fast. However, eat the food you usually eat, BUT make sure your stomach feels a little empty as if you didn't finish eating. DO NOT overeat because you gain weight really fast that way. Don't eat too much sweets, eat more vegetables and fruits, grains, and so on. Try this for a week and see if there are any good results. Good luck.

Drink lots of water. Don't eat seconds or junk food. Do eat lots of vegetables. And do make sure you get healthy meals. Your parents can help with this.
Get exercise. Start with walking: It only costs a good pair of shoes, and can be done just about any time.
There are some great exercise programs out there. Look into them.
Good luck!
