Is it cannibalism if you chew your fingernails?

Yes, I can already see some left wing councils in say the midlands formulating community centres and diversity training and giving grants to people for whom cannibalism is a part of their cultural heritage. Good question - shows the lunacy of one of political correctness' main principles that ALL are equally valued and valid. But it is absolute POPPYCOCK.

How do you engage in cannibalism without the need to kill or mutilate a human being?
That is in effect commiting murder, or at the very least GBH.
Surely while those two things are illegal, there's no way cannibalism can become morally acceptable.

Surely you should be asking is Political Correctness wrong, nothing wrong with cannibalism, a good way of certain tribes of people to dispose of their dead and get sufficient protein to augment their sparse diets. Would you deny life to these people who otherwise may have insufficient food? - Or try and impose YOUR view of religion that their religion allows or even demands it. What right do you have to change someones religion.

Maybe you should have phrased your question
"Is cannibalism wrong?"

Cannibalism is completly against political correctness, there is no way we'd have to put up with it because it takes away others rights

No because given the hierarchy of human needs it will be starvation that will force us into it and not a social convention.
p.s I dont think cannibalism is always wrong.

Oh no....are cannibals going to start fighting for equal rights? Where does it end?

No , we would not put up with it knowingly. But did you see that film"Soylent Green", about a future world where the dead are recycled into food for the masses? A very moving film with Charlton Heston, and Edward . G. Robinson, 70s I think.

dont be stupid, course not cannibalism is hurting other people, things that do not hurt others should be allowed ie gay marriage cz it gives people more freedom and things like sexism, racism need to be erased so that equality prevails...
Canibalism does not strive for any intrinsic good such as freedom, equality or tolerance so NO ur qn is stupid
and i mean the type of cannibalism when you murder someone and then eat them... cz thats murder duh!

Only if we don't stand against it now. We must stop the p.c., walking on egg shells crap. When did we become so soft that we have to worry about who we offend? As a so-called minorty, I don't concern myself with the limitted thinking of someone who would hurl derogatory insults. As long as your opinion is just that (an opnion) everyone is entitled to it.

Possibly so! I mean those poor cannibals are only doing what comes naturally to them right? Who are we to judge that? >sarcasm<
