A heathen has never "tied" me in "knots". I tend to only feel sorry for them. Sure, they have asked me questions I cannot answer, I am do not claim to be a theologian who has spent years in the Seminary to equip myself for the toughest of questions.
The weird thing is that many unbelievers think that just because Christians cannot answer a question, then their faith is based on a lie.
Little do they realize that our faith is not our own, but granted to us by God. Jesus expressed that Thomas was lucky that he was able to see and believe for the rest of us will have to be satisfied with not seeing - yet believing.
It is true, that the non-believers will always come up with weird questions that we cannot answer. But our faith does not lie on those minor issues. They are on Jesus - and what He did for us sinners on the Cross at Calvary.
Normally, the Christian that is "tied in knots" are the young Christains or the Christians that are easily distracted from the MAIN POINT (Christ Crucified).

LOL, well now; this has an interesting facet! Tied in knots. I rather think that's clever. It is all like a knot, Life; God; Jesus for some. These mysteries each and everyone may ponder upon. Is the string joined, or will we find those ends to be loose? When it is unraveled will there be even tighter knots along the cord? Mysteries in the mystery, the moment beyond this one; the one we gaze upon. Given vent by frustration, lashing out with words to defend what is believed but not understood. Silence in reflection upon questions that shock and provoke thoughts foriegn to Doctrine learned so reverently. The faith of fore Fathers brought to task, the contradictions exposed; balmed by rote Faith. There are few that can escape the knots, tied as they are to all that we do. Our Christians are part of this tapestry that all these knots make. We are one with them, they can not escape Our species through belief. We can not escape either, we are; what we are. We are the knot, the mystery; it matters not at all how we twist and turn. They look to accept, the way of their expression is by Jesus. Others seek acceptance by different paths; but all look to the same destination. We all cease to be of this realm, perhaps to dust and no more; perhaps to the care of Christ; no matter either way; we will be here no more. I've always found the best way to deal with a knot is to cut it. Simple, yet timely and effective. Gives one the opportunity to see into the complexity that was, no long a troublesome thing; just interesting. So short this life, that is a knot I'd like to see the center of. Free of doubt, what vistas could we invision; what we could bring into being.

For a holy guy, healing human beings is a ability that comes from absolute morality. Buddhists and Hindus tutor that a guy who in no way lies approximately something at last features the flexibility to heal, because of the fact after see you later a time of following the actuality, the actuality starts off to maintain on with him. If he says, "it rather is so," that's. If he tells a guy he's healed of an disease, the guy's physique will return to accepted by the holy guy's command. be conscious that for the duration of each and every of those memories, Jesus had to make incredibly a coach of the healing, and to a pair quantity, conquer the ideals of the undertaking. the single guy became advised to circulate wash contained in the river, and became healed after he additionally did that. yet another required a paste to be utilized. the guy who became the two deaf and blind had to have his ears touched by the grasp, and to have the tongue moistened. I think of that for the duration of cases of a guy or woman whose perception became thoroughly in his incapacity, Jesus mandatory somewhat drama to shake the guy out of it. If he had used water to moisten the eyes or tongues of those disabled human beings, it ought to look like a magic trick, and not the yogic ability that for the duration of all probability took Jesus 20 years to appropriate.

Maybe we just don't waste as much time here as we used to. What's the point? We can't get much of an intelligent answer. We can't get anyone to ask a question that really wants to learn anything. We're not Christians because we're narrow minded. Some of us were just like you. We opened our hearts and minds and that's when we learned that there must be someone that's more important than ourselves. Someone that actually has the answers we're looking for.

I am Christian. Personally if someone has different beliefs than me, I just leave him alone. He is entitled to his opinion. I wouldn't' consider arguing on a public forum about religion. If someone has a serious question that I feel I am qualified to answer, I will try to answer. If I don't feel I can give a good answer, I just don't answer.
I don't care to insult people or try to trip them up and make them look foolish. This site is for all of us to have fun on.

I'm tired of people using the word Christian so generally. Some Christians do that, some don't. Would you talk that way about a certain race? It's not really fair to judge people as a whole group. I don't want to be judged based on other peoples comments.

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE CHRISTIANS "TIED IN KNOTS" ITS JUST NOT POSSIBLE. LACK OF ANSWERS AND/OR PRESENCE OF INSULTS DON'T INDICATE ANYTHING OTHER THAN SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS DON'T DESERVE THE VALIDATION OF AN ANSWER BECAUSE THE QUESTION IS FOOLISH OR THAT YOUR ATTEMPTS TO BE INSULTING INVITE INSULTING RESPONSES. YOU NEED TO FIND SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE BESIDES CHALLENGING CHRISTIANS. YOU CAN'T SHAKE OUR FAITH OR TIE US IN KNOTS. YOU SIMPLY KEEP POINTING OUT TO EVERYONE HERE HOW "NEEDY" YOU REALLY ARE. I HOPE ALL THE CHRISTIANS ON HERE WILL PRAY FOR YOU AS I DO .

That would be a good clue.....but I think you can forget the "lack of answers" part.....they will never lack an answer -- especially if you make them nuts......ramblings, insults, and LOTS of quotes from the bible let you know that you've struck a nerve. Why, do you have a good one?

I have looked over your questions. As a non-believer, I find them to be generally pointless, and extremely lame. I don't know why anybody, Christian or otherwise, would deign to waste any time or attention on them.
Get over yourself.
